Hey y’all,
      Thank you for visiting the Paw Plaza LLC website! I figured I should tell you a little more about myself, my education, past work experience, and what I enjoy doing outside of work!

 

      My name is Morgan Province and I am the owner of Paw Plaza LLC. I am 33 years old, from Jonesville VA, and I am so thankful to have brought my dream business to life! I've lived the farm life my entire life here in southwest Virginia, and I've loved every second of it. I worked at an animal hospital in East Tennessee while attending and after graduating from Lincoln Memorial University. I graduated from LMU with an Associates & Bachelors degree in Veterinary Health Science in 2017. I spent 3 years working at the animal hospital and the knowledge I gained with hands on experience was incredible. The friendships I gained while there and at the university are invaluable and truly helped mold me into the person I am today. I cherish those friendships that push me to be a better version of myself each day! 

      My animals are my world, and always get the royal treatment. In the early days of Paw Plaza, my only dog was Rico, my amazing German Shepherd which is also the dog you see in our logo! Unfortunately he passed away in 2024 and though a MASSIVE part of my soul went with him, I had to keep it together for the dogs he left behind (Amira, a Golden Retriever, and Remy, a German Shepherd). Rico and I were inseparable and saying goodbye to Rico was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. In memory of Rico, the "Rico Fund" was created to help owners cover the cost of vaccines. Often in our area, owners can maintain feeding their dogs and cats, but when it comes to vaccinations that could be life saving, some people simply cant afford them. It doesn't make them bad owners, it simply means they need a helping hand, which is where the Rico Fund steps in. I'm grateful that my amazing Rico can continue blessing other families in his memory. My pack has slowly grown from two dogs to four dogs over the years.  Now Camille, a Golden Retriever and Amira's full sister, and Yara, a Pomeranian, have also joined the family. At home, Remy, Amira, Camille, & Yara also have some other siblings! Keelie, Kovu, and Karl are the three cat siblings they live peacefully with! Then we have a sun conure names Moses, a ferret named Phoenix, a chameleon named Pickles, a crested gecko named Mochi, a hognose snake named Sliminem (like Eminem), and a fish named Swim Shady. Guys, it isn't easy being this cool, but somebody has to do it. 

      When I'm not at Paw Plaza, I enjoy traveling and barrel racing. I currently have three horses. Cody is my 25 year old retired rodeo horse. Romeo is 10 years old and he is my main barrel horse. Ransom is three years old and is Romeo's younger brother. He is currently in Colorado being trained by my best friend, then he will be coming home to begin his career in barrel racing. Though I had some set backs over the years with snapping my Achilles several times, I’m so excited to finally back in the saddle for good! As far as traveling is concerned, I love traveling both within the United States, as well as internationally. Though I have been fortunate enough to visit Canada and Mexico as well, I fell in love with Scotland in 2019 and can't wait to go back again! I also recently traveled to Belize where I ruptured my ear drum while scuba diving. I love learning about and immersing myself in different cultures throughout the world, and I cherish the incredible friendships I have made in the process.

      I am so thankful to have had such a warm welcome to the Wise VA community! I’ve been met with so much kindness and enthusiasm, it makes this dream come true even more amazing! Thank you for taking the time to read a little about me!  I can’t wait to get to know you all!
